Presenter Information
Colin Afferton
Colin Afferton is the director of MediaX. His team works with experimental technology to produce content in new mediums. He is a senior Business and Enterprise Management major with a concentration in Sports Management and an Economics minor. After Graduation, he will be working for Berkeley Research Group, a global consulting firm, in his hometown of Washington, DC.
Maisy Armstrong
Maisy Armstrong is the Director of Sports Affairs. She is planning to major in Business and Enterprise Management with a minor in Film Studies. Her interest in multimodal storytelling is rooted in a passion for film. She loves the vision and emotion that drive video projects and is infinitely curious about the film-making process. She works as a freelance portrait photographer both at Wake Forest and in Minnesota but dabbles in wedding photography, family sessions, and more.
Lauren McGovern
Lauren McGovern is the Director of Special Events. She is from the DC area and has always loved being creative so learning and using the Adobe suite has been really fun for me. She also loves to share her love of design with others and so her team in the media has been a great outlet for idea-sharing.
Katie Sprague
Katie Sprague is Director-General of The Media for the 2020-2021 academic year. She is a senior communication major with a concentration in media studies from Manchester, Maine. She has been in The Media since her freshman year working with MediaX for two years, as the Director of Sports Affairs for one year, and as the Director-General for her senior year. Next year she will be pursuing a Masters in Communication at Johns Hopkins University.

Esther Yang
Esther Yang is a junior double major in Accounting and Statistics. She is responsible for the Digital Publications Team at The Media. Her team comprises a group of people who are passionate about building a platform for Wake alumni, potential students, and parents overseas to learn about the newest achievements and changes at Wake.
